About Panel

Our Association is a not-for-profit making organisation, a company limited by guarantee to £1 per member and is administered by an Executive Committee elected by the members.

The Executive Committee is comprised of a Chairman, General Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Secretary, Webmaster/Public Relations Officer and five Area Organisers.

For administrative purposes only, the mainland UK is divided into five areas.

Members can attend any rally in any area.

All of the above give their services on a voluntary basis.

A rally book is produced and sent out each January which contains a full programme for the forthcoming season.

This gives members the opportunity to plan their holidays in advance and secure places on the rallies.

When booking, a non-returnable deposit of £2.00 per night is required which will be deducted from the full rally fee, there is no deduction for short stays, see FAQ's for more information.

Each rally is organised and run by volunteer members who are obliged to conform with broad guidelines set by the Executive Committee.

All of the above give their services on a voluntary basis.

About Panel

We are a friendly Association for retired people who own a caravan or motorhome and enjoy the freedom and camaraderie of the rally field and the easy going companionship of like minded friends of our own generation.

Our membership is currently approximately 550 units comprising of both joint members and also many single memberships. We organise up to 40 rallies each year throughout mainland UK from March to October.

These rallies are from seven to fourteen days duration and many are arranged so that they "FOLLOW ON" are within easy driving distance.

We are a totally volunteer, non-profit making organisation licensed to run rallies up to twenty eight days duration and our aim is to encourage and promote touring and rallying as a recreational activity among persons who have retired from full time gainful occupation.

About Panels

Our rallies are run by volunteer members who are encouraged to "do it their way" resulting in each rally being unique in terms of its content which always includes some form of entertainment on or off the rally field. In Spring and Autumn our rallies are generally held on commercial sites with full facilities.

Consequently these rallies are often more expensive than those held in the summer months when we use playing fields, rugby pitches and even farmer’s fields. In all cases, the sites are carefully chosen to ensure easy access, minimum impact on the local environment and usually with a hall adjacent or nearby for our evening entertainment.

About Panel

Most rally officers provide a full rally programme with events on the rally field and evening social nights where you will be entertained either by the rally crew or outside entertainers.

Tea and biscuits are always a favourite and some rallies provide food and suppers.

Group meals out and outings are always successful as well as Boules and Bowls competitions.

But remember you don’t have to take part in everything that’s on offer, just join in as much or little as you wish.
