Cancellation of membership fees:
New members joining, or existing members renewing their membership, have the automatic right to cancel their membership within 14 days of payment being made.
Those who wish to cancel their membership should visit our contacts page and send a message to the Treasurer.
The fees will normally be refunded within 7 days of the request.
Once the membership fee is refunded, the member will not have access to the private members’ area of our website and any rallies booked will be automatically cancelled.
Membership fees will not be refunded after 14 days in any circumstances.
Cancellation of rally fees prior to commencement of a rally:
All deposits for rallies are strictly non-refundable unless the rally is cancelled by the RCA, or under exceptional circumstances which will be at the discretion of the RCA committee.
Cancellation of rally fees after full payment has been made:
Most rallies require full payment prior to the start of the rally.
There is no reduction for short stays. In the event of completely unforeseen circumstances where a member has paid the final balance and can no longer attend the rally:
If the money has been paid to the site, then the member’s redress is with the site, however, if the site has not yet been paid, consideration may be made by the committee to reimburse all or part of the final balance to the member taking into account the effect the cancellation cost has on the rally.
Cancellation of rally fees after commencement of a rally:
Rally fees will not be refunded once the rally has commenced, even if the RCA decides to abandon the event for reasons beyond its control.
Cancellation by the RCA:
If the RCA decides to cancel an event and an alternative solution cannot be agreed upon (e.g. event postponement or alternative venue) then all applicable fees will be refunded to the member.
