 THE RETIRED CARAVANNERS' ASSCOCIATION NEW WEBSITE

 

With effect from 19th July our website has been updated. This new updated website looks very similar to our old one, which is intentional but the main differences are as follows:-

 

Most importantly the site is more secure, you will see the prefix is now https:// which denotes a secure site, our old site reported Not Secure which worried some people.

 

This new site also complies to the latest regulations regarding notification and acceptance of Cookies and our Privacy Policy has been updated in line with these changes.

New LOGIN system to enter the Members Area.

 

In the past you would have been issued with your Login details, but things are a little different on this new website. Firstly, I recommend you have your R.C.A. Membership number to hand and follow the instructions below.

To enter the Members Area, you now need to sign up for a website account.

 

To do this, click on either Login on the top banner or click on the members area Tab.

 

A sign-up page will appear.

 

To sign up fill in the required details including your own memorable chosen password and click on the Sign-Up button.

 

A message will appear advising you that your request has been sent, it can take up to 48 hours for you to be accepted. You will receive notification when your request has been accepted.

If you are not a member or your membership has lapsed, you will be denied an account.

 

Once you have been accepted go to Login and click on “already a member Login” enter your log-in details which are your email address and your chosen password, click LOGIN and you should then be able to access the Members Area.

 

If you experience any problems, please contact the Webmaster by filling in the enquiry form on the contact page with a brief description of the issue. It has been reported that on some older computers you unable to scroll down to see the "already a member Login", if this happens just use your page down arrow on your keyboard and you will the be able to Login

**********   What Else is New ***********

We have now introduced a new Rally Booking Form which is fillable using your computer. Just go to the members area and you will find the rally booking form available on several pages, click on the button and the form will come up.

If you wish, you can fill this form in on your computer by clicking on each field and entering your text, then print it or save and send a copy to the appropriate rally officer by email if the listing allows.

If the rally listing in the book or on the website advises that the rally officer is accepting payment by bank transfer, send the rally officer the form by email stating you wish to pay by bank transfer and they will reply with their bank details. Alternatively call the rally officer first. Only send the form by email if you are going to pay direct into the bank.  

                                                  Not available for the National Rally booking form.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE 2021 RALLIES

 

Due to the uncertainty regarding Covid-19 Government requirements for the next rally season, the Committee have made a decision to make all rallies for 2021 “Free and Easy Rallies” except for the National rally in September. This means there will be No social meetings or catering of any kind, no halls or venues will be booked for socials to take place and the rally price will reflect this.

It is proposed that if at any time the Government rules are relaxed the Rally Officers will endeavour to put on social activities during the rally as agreed by the Committee,  these proposed activities may be included in the rally listing but not included in the rally price therefore there may be a small supplement to pay if they are to go ahead.  A full refund will be made for any cancellations made by the Committee or cancellations from members due to Covid-19 related reasons.

 

All rallies, if on a commercial sites will be run in accordance with the sites own Covid Secure rules which must be strictly adhered to and rallies held using our exemption certificate (agricultural and sports club fields) will have a full risk assessment carried out by our Area Organisers and any recommendations will put into practice to keep us all safe.  We are hoping that by September 2021 we will be able to run a normal as possible National Rally with Entertainment and Social gatherings, you will be advised of any changes to our rallies by Email or Post and also posted on this website.
